Terms of Service
Chorus is a free Discord app for recording and looking up in-game encounters. These terms apply to the app and this website.
01 / Using Chorus
By installing, accessing or using Chorus, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must meet Discord’s minimum age and eligibility requirements, follow its terms and policies, and have authority to install apps or import content in any server you manage.
Chorus is independently operated by Devin O’Brien / BVLDERDVSH. It is not affiliated with Discord, Frontier Developments, Cloud Imperium Games or the publishers of supported games.
02 / What reports mean
Friendly, hostile, neutral and unknown flags are community-submitted accounts of gameplay encounters. They are opinions and reports, not verified facts, identity checks, endorsements or guarantees of future behaviour. Handles can change or be shared by unrelated players. Check the game, source, date and context before relying on a report.
Records are scoped to the Discord server in which they are submitted or imported. Chorus does not provide a global reputation score. Lookups may appear publicly in the channel where a command is used.
03 / Your responsibilities
Submit relevant, good-faith gameplay information. Do not submit personal or sensitive information, threats, discriminatory abuse, knowingly false allegations, spam, stolen content or calls to harass or target someone. Do not use Chorus to identify a player’s real-world identity, profile their private life, or make decisions about employment, housing, credit or other real-world opportunities.
Do not bypass permissions, access another server’s records without authorization, misuse credentials, disrupt the service or exploit vulnerabilities. Server administrators are responsible for configuring permissions, informing their communities and reviewing imported logs.
04 / Content and moderation
You retain rights you have in your submissions. You grant Chorus permission to store, process and display them only as needed to provide, secure and moderate the service. Only submit content you are entitled to share. Reports can be corrected or removed using the available commands or the request form.
We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably needed to address misuse, security, legal obligations or Discord’s requirements. Server moderators can remove reports within their server. Removing a source Discord message or uninstalling the app does not automatically remove a previously imported report; request its removal separately.
05 / Availability and changes
Chorus is provided free of charge in its current form. Features, supported games and availability may change. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, complete information or error-free operation. You may stop using Chorus at any time. Server administrators may remove the app through Discord.
06 / Limits and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for gameplay losses, server decisions or disputes arising from user reports, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You remain responsible for your decisions and for complying with your server’s and game’s rules.
07 / Contact and updates
For support, corrections, privacy concerns or operator inquiries, use the contact and privacy request form. Never send passwords or bot tokens through that form. We may update these terms; the current version and update date will appear here. Material changes will be identified on this page, and renewed agreement will be requested where required.
