CONTEXT
COMES FIRST.
One bad encounter doesn’t tell the whole story. CHORUS keeps the source, date and different perspectives visible.
Your server, your records.
Reports are shared within the Discord server where they were logged. No global reputation score.
People own their reports.
Members can update or remove their entries. Moderators with Manage Server can clear disputed records.

What does the Chorus Discord bot do?
Chorus helps your crew record and look up in-game pilot encounters. Use /flag to save a gamer tag, game, friendly, hostile, neutral or unknown flag, and a required note. Use /lookup to read your Discord server’s reports for that handle and game.
Is Chorus free to install and use?
Yes. Chorus is currently free to install and use. Add it to a Discord server you manage, then use its slash commands. Optional Patreon support helps support the project.
Which games is Chorus built for?
Chorus focuses on Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen communities. Use it to keep context about commanders and pilot handles your crew encounters. Reports for different games stay separate. More games may be added later.
Are friendly and hostile reports shared across all servers?
No. Each Discord server has its own encounter records. Chorus does not publish a global player blacklist or reputation score. Reports are member opinions, not verified facts, and conflicting encounters can appear together.
Why does every encounter report need a note?
The required note explains why a contact was flagged. Keep it specific to the in-game encounter. A hostile or friendly label alone does not provide enough context for your crew.
Can we import existing Discord encounter logs?
Chorus includes an owner-managed history import workflow for reviewing text logs before saving them. Imported records preserve original authors, dates and source message links. Channel access and a review are required; installing the bot does not automatically import history.
How do members update or remove a report?
Use /flag again to update your report for a handle and game, or /unflag to remove your own entry. Moderators with Manage Server permission can use /purge to remove reports for a handle and game in their server.
